After beginning his career in the banking industry Glanzer moved to hospitality in 1989 when he joined the opening team in Convention Banquets at the Mirage Hotel and Casino. He would eventually open Treasure Island Hotel in various positions in Hotel Operations and then move back to the Mirage in 1998 to oversee the Convention Services team.
Glanzer moved to the iconic Bellagio in 2005 where he lead the Convention Services teams for 13 successful years and was awarded and recognized for his leadership and excellent service delivery standards. In his 28 years with MGM Resorts International Glanzer was successful in creating high performing teams and executing VIP events in a luxury environment.
Glanzer left Bellagio to take a role with ConferenceDirect where he held a leadership position in multiple areas including the Vice President of Conference Management before leaving to create Elevated Meeting Solutions.
Glanzer has a long tenure of involvement in the meetings community where he has been a CMP since 2000. He currently sits on the EIC CMP Governance Committee, is active in the UNLV Hotel School Mentor program and is a long-term MPI member.
Although he was born and raised in South Dakota and Minnesota he moved west to Las Vegas in 1986 where he currently resides with his wife Stephanie and has four children, Ryan, Alex, Halen and Jillian.
Glanzer is an avid live music fan and enjoys luxury travel and a lifestyle that includes family, friends and life balance integration.
